Charity Times Awards 2017

1st August 2017

ECF is delighted that its Chief Executive, Caroline Taylor, has been shortlisted in the Charity Times Awards 2017 in the category which recognises the achievements of new CEO’s working in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector.

Caroline was appointed Chief Executive in January 2016 and has worked with ECF for 13 years, latterly as Deputy Chief Executive with responsibility for the Foundation’s Grants and Programmes.

Under her leadership, ECF has reached the milestones of growing the value of its endowment fund to £40 million, which will support charitable organisations and projects in Essex in perpetuity; and having awarded £30 million in grants since the Foundation was established in 1996.

Caroline said: “It’s an honour to be the Chief Executive of ECF and to work with a dedicated team of people who are committed to our mission of developing local philanthropy to support the work of the voluntary sector in Essex.”.

Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner and Ceremony on Wednesday 4 October 2017.
