Caroline Taylor, Chief Executive

Caroline was appointed Chief Executive in January 2016 and is responsible for the day to day management, growth and development of the Foundation. Caroline holds a master’s degree in Philanthropy, Social Investment and Grantmaking from Cass Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Communications. She has worked with ECF since 2004, latterly as Deputy Chief Executive.

Catherine Burton, Head of Finance

Catherine is responsible for the day to day management of financial activity and is the main point of contact for our Investment Managers. She prepares for the annual audit, ECF’s financial statements and supports our Finance and Investment Committee.

Kate Cornish, Marketing and Communications Officer

Kate joined ECF in October 2016 having previously worked for a top PR agency in London. She works on all aspects of ECF's promotion, marketing materials, press coverage and events to raise the profile of our work across the county.

Diana Cox,  Grants and Programmes Administrator

Diana joined the Foundation in 2014 following a successful career at HSBC. Her wealth of administrative and customer service skills has strengthened the grants team.

Jill Curd, Grants Officer

Jill’s experience of working within the voluntary sector for many years has greatly benefited ECF in her role as grants officer. Jill assesses grant applications and oversees funding programmes.

Lisa Green, Grants and Programmes Administrator 

Lisa has a strong administrative background and supports the grants team in processing applications and managing the Foundation's grant data.

Tracy Hardy, Fund Administrator

Tracy worked in credit control before taking a career break to bring up her family. She has re-trained and is now working with Catherine Burton, Head of Finance. Tracy is responsible for managing ECF’s financial activities.

Steven Mackenzie, Development Officer

Steve works with the team to identify new opportunities and relationships for ECF and provides a professional, bespoke service to our fundholders.  He has effectively developed our ICT systems and has supported the national development of a central, online database for community foundations.

Jo Macaulay, Head of Communications

Jo is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of ECF’s work are effectively communicated to a wide audience, across different media. She works directly with our fundholders and grant recipients to publicise their work across the County and produces our annual review and manages all of the Foundation’s events.

Ellie Shaw, Grants Officer

As a member of our grants team, Ellie is involved in all aspects of the Foundation's grant making, including the promotion of grant programmes, advising funding applicants, assessing applications and preparing information for consideration by our fundholders.

Fran Wright, Grants Team Leader

Fran co-ordinates the Foundation’s grant making and day-to-day operations of the grants team. Having worked at ECF since 2010, Fran has an in-depth understanding of local social issues and works with third sector organisations and our donors, helping to ensure our grants have maximum impact in the communities we serve.

Andrew Clarke, Grants Officer

Andrew joined the Foundation as a volunteer grants assessor in 2000 having taken early retirement following a long and successful career with Barclays Bank.  He is a hugely valued member of the team, supporting all aspects of the Foundation’s work and has particular expertise in managing special projects and large capital grants.

Barbara Garside, Grants Officer

Barbara has volunteered with ECF since 2005 and supports the Grants Team with application assessments and monitoring and evaluation. Barbara is a retired Chartered Accountant and brings a wealth of financial knowledge and experience to the team.

Lorraine Brooks, Grants Administrator

Lorraine joined ECF as a volunteer in early 2017. Her 'can do' attitude for any task has made her a vital member of the team.

Antony Stark, Grants Officer

Antony joined the Foundation in early 2010 as a volunteer and supports the Grants Team with application assessments and monitoring and evaluation. Antony is a retired banker who worked internationally, he brings a wealth of financial knowledge and experience to the team.
