Moulsham Youth Club
The Moulsham Youth Club project started in 2007 to address issues of youth behaviour in the Goat Hall and Moulsham Lodge areas of Chelmsford. Since the club began there has been a noticeable drop in reports of anti-social behaviour and youth nuisance. In this clip we hear from Amy Hogan and Michael Porosa who describe what they do at the club and how it has helped them. Over 50 young people attend on a weekly basis taking part in sessions promoting healthy eating, sports, arts and crafts and drama.
In this clip Sonny McGory talks of his experiences at Moulsham Youth Club, explains how it has helped his reading and writing skills and how proud he is to be a member. PCSO Sandra Strange also gives a brief insight into Sonny's background and how the club has worked to help him.
