Essex Charities Rewarded (28 Mar 2007)

Chairman of Essex County Council, Cllr Gerard McEwen has praised CHESS and Women’s Aid for their work supporting vulnerable people in Chelmsford

At an annual awards ceremony, CHESS and Women’s Aid were among 25 local charities in Essex which received cheques totalling £65,781, to help fund the work they do in their local community. 
 
The event was held at the Essex Record Office in Chelmsford on 19 March.
