"This is a great resource for the voluntary sector in Essex as it builds on the energy of the partnership and gives organisations the opportunity to explore ideas and solutions to strengthen their communities.”Caroline Taylor, ECF chief executive
The Community Resilience Fund was first launched in 2014 with a £1 million donation from Essex County Council (ECC), along with support from Essex Police and Essex County Fire & Rescue Service.
The annual grants programme exists to support Essex charities and voluntary groups aimed at stimulating and strengthening community-led activity.
Grants awarded from the Fund are to help create additional opportunities for local organisations to grow, improve community resilience and independence.
ECF works with a panel of local representatives to identify and select priorities for funding.
There are seperate guidelines for this Fund. To read these and to access the expression of interest form, click here.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your idea in advance, please call the ECF grants team on 01245 356018.
