Realising Ambitions Programme

What is the Realising Ambitions Programme?

The Realising Ambitions Programme has been established by the Suffolk & North East Essex Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) to support its plan of integrating local health, care and voluntary services. You can read about the plan and live well themes here

Essex Community Foundation is working with the STP to distribute grants to community and voluntary organisations that are having a direct impact on health and wellbeing across the North East Essex Clinical Commissioning operating area. To view a map of these areas, here

What can it support?

Grants will be awarded to community and voluntary organisations that are working in Colchester and Tendring to:

The following grant categories are available:

- Micro-grants up to £1,000 are available for small, grassroots organisations making a difference to their community and improving health and wellbeing at a very local level. Read the criteria and apply for a mico-grant here.

- Small grants of £1,000 up to a maximum of £10,000 are available to charitable organisations including social enterprises. Read the criteria and apply for a small grant here

- Strategic grants of over £10,000 and up to a maximum of £70,000 are available for partnerships of at least two or more organisations working together. Read the criteria and make an expression of interest for a strategic grant here.

The deadline is 9 August 2019. Outcomes are expected in October and therefore no project must start until after this date as we are unable to fund retrospectively.
