Since 1996 we have worked hard to develop the community foundation and support the charitable sector in Essex. We want to create a culture of generosity and inspire charitable giving to provide vital funding to voluntary organisations working at the heart of our communities.
On average, we give financial support to over 500 voluntary organisations each year that are meeting the needs of their communities and making a real difference for local people.

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join Essex Community Foundation as our Director of Programmes & Partnerships.
This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in shaping the future of communities across Essex. You will lead our grant‑making and strategic programmes, build influential partnerships, and help drive meaningful, evidence‑based impact across the voluntary and community sector.
