Since 1996 we have worked hard to develop the community foundation and support the charitable sector in Essex. We want to create a culture of generosity and inspire charitable giving to provide vital funding to voluntary organisations working at the heart of our communities.

On average, we give financial support to over 500 voluntary organisations each year that are meeting the needs of their communities and making a real difference for local people.

Co-opted Members: Finance & Investment Committee:

We are seeking a co-opted member to join our Finance & Investment Committee. The committee provides strategic oversight of our financial affairs and investments, ensuring they are managed responsibly and in line with our charitable objectives. 

The co-opted member will play a key role in scrutinising the performance of our external investment managers, helping us ensure value for money, appropriate risk management, and alignment with our mission.
