The High Sheriff’s Fund – Apply For Support
If you’re considering applying for a grant from the High Sheriff’s Fund, which supports projects that focus on community safety, this could be a great fit for your work. That said, we also offer a wide range of other grant opportunities throughout the year, and we’re here to help you access the funding that best suits your needs.
If you’re confident this is the right fund for your project, scroll down to ‘Apply Now’. If you’re not sure, keep reading to learn more.
If your charity, voluntary or community organisation is based or working in Essex and needs financial support, we may be able to help. You can tell us what you need support for at any time, as we accept applications all year round, and our team will try to find the funds you need.

CAN I APPLY FOR A GRANT FOR MYSELF OR SOMEONE I KNOW?
We also have a small amount of funding available to support individuals who are living, or have lived, in Essex, Southend or Thurrock. These funds mainly help children and young adults where money is a barrier to them reaching their full potential.
If you are looking for funding for an individual, please click here and tell us more about what you need.
